Gokyo Valley is popular for the collection of five glacier-fed lakes. The turquoise lakes swathed by the huge ice giants is a sight you will remember forever in your life. A climb to Gokyo Ri presents dramatic view of world’s tallest peaks – Mt. Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,585m) and Cho Oyu (8,201m). Below the Gokyo Ri is Nepal’s largest rubble covered Ngozumpa glacier stretching out of Cho Oyu Himal. Crossing Renjo La Pass to climb out of (Gokyo valley) offers enigmatic view of world’s highest mountains peaks, sparkling glaciers and high valleys.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,7ft): minutes flight, 8km, 3 – 4 hours trek
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,270ft): 11km, 5 – 6 hours
Day 05: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,284ft)
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Dole (4,200m/13,776ft) – 5 – 6 hours
Day 07: Dole to Machhermo (4,400m/14,432ft) – 4 – 5 hours
Day 08: Macchermo to Gokyo Lake (4,700m/15,416ft) – 4 – 5 hours
Day 09: Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,360m/17,880ft) – 4 – 5 hours
Day 10: Trek to Lunden (4,300m/14,104ft) via crossing Renjo La Pass (5,340m/17,843ft) – 6 – 7 hours
Day 11: Lunden to Thame (3,800m/13,464ft) – 4 – 5 hours
Day 12: Thame to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) – 4 – 5 hours
Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) – 6 – 7 hours
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu, our airport representative will receive you and transfer you to the designated hotel. These are no planned activities for the trek so check into the hotel and take rest.
Evening: attend farewell dinner hosted by NEFA Treks in typical Nepali restaurant with cultural shows.
