Carved from glacial streams and cuddled by Himalayan peaks lies the popular Everest region! Blessed by the solons who have travelled these mountains for centuries, this region boasts a variety of landscapes and experience that few spots in the entire planet can offer. 

On this Everest Yoga Trek, you will walk beside the gushing rivers, through lush rhododendron and pine forest and rest at the foot of world’s highest peak – Everest. Along the way, you will partake in time tested yoga practices including asana, pranayama, relaxation and mediation to change the way you are looking to our life. 

You will spend day walking towards the top of the world, disconnecting from your device and getting closer to your inner-self. Listen nothing but your own footsteps and nature (birds chirping, roar of river, sound of wind) as you follow the peaceful trail up to the Everest Base Camp. 

Each day starts with relaxing meditation, prayanyama and asana practice, followed by heartily breakfast prepared by lovable Sherpa people. We believe that you have to be refreshed, self-reflective and conscious each day throughout the hike. 

Let your eyes gaze dramatic ice giants, nose inhale the pure oxygen and heart surrender in sheer beauty of Himalayan surroundings.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft) and transfer to the hotel

Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,7ft): 35 minutes flight, 8km, 3 – 4 hours trek

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,270ft): 11km, 5 – 6 hours

Day 04: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,284ft)

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 10km, 5 – 6 hours

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft): 9km, 5 – 6 hours

Day 07: Acclimatization day at Dingboche

Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft): 11 km, 6 – 7 hours

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft): 13km, 6 – 7 hours

Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) to Pheriche (4,288m/14,070ft): 16km, 7 – 8 hours

Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft): 20km, 6 – 7 hours

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m/9,186ft): 19km, 6 – 7 hours

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 14: Final Departure



Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu International airport, you will be received by a representative from Nefa treks and s/he will transfer you to the designated hotel. We will serve you a welcome drinks upon your arrival at the hotel, enjoy free time until 6:00 PM. Evening attend a welcome dinner in a traditional Nepali restaurant with an authentic Nepali cuisine and cultural program. We will introduce you with your trek leader and yoga guide; who will brief you about the trek and check on the necessities.

Morning Time: Yoga Evening Time: Meditation After early morning breakfast, we will drive to Tribhuvan Domestic airport to take a scenic 35 min flight to Lukla. During the flight, we will enjoy one of the most dramatic trans-Himalayan air route and land on the adventurous airport surrounded by mountain peaks. Here we will meet rest of our crew and start our trek towards Phakding. We will walk through the Dudh Koshi valley and pass the village of Chaurikharka to reach Phakding.

Morning Time: Yoga Evening Time: Meditation Namche Bazaar is heart and soul of Khumbu region; where we can feel the nature through meditation in both evening and morning time. After breakfast, we walk through a beautiful pine forest and follow the Dudh Koshi River; passing the village of Chumoa and Monjo to reach Jorsale – the entrance point of Sagarmatha National Park. Next we cross a suspension bridge and pass Jorsale to follow the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River. We then climb on a steep trail for 3 – 4 hours to reach the prosperous town in the Everest region – Namche Bazaar.

With dynamic meditation in the morning in a peaceful mountain environment – our acclimatization process starts! There are multiple things to do around Namche Bazaar. We wake up to another spectacular morning in the mountain. It is important to know that acclimatization is not a rest day. Mountain expert suggests to stay active though out acclimatization period. We don’t spend our day lazing around the lodges or shopping in the local stores. Instead our trek leader will take us to explore the real charm of Namche Bazaar. So after breakfast, we make a gentle climb up to the Everest view hotel and enjoy the tempting view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and more. On our way back to Namche Bazaar, we visit Khumjung museum (famous for housing scalp of Yeti!) and Hillary school.

The trail from Namche to Tengboche is spectacularly fascinating. Far below lies the Dudh Koshi River and the glistering Thamserku, Kangtenga, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Everest stand ahead. Today we hike up to the edge of Namche and contour on a hillside to Sansa. Here the trail forks: NW to Gokyo and NE to Everest. On the way, keep your eyes out for Himalayan Tahrs on the high ground, shy spotted deer and birds including Danphe – the national bird of Nepal. We then follow an easy downhill trail to water operated prayer wheel at Phunki Thenga (3,250m), the lowest point beyond Namche. Net we cross the Dudh Khosi River near its juncture with the Imja Khola and climb steeply for 2 hours through dense rhododendron forest to the hilltop village of Tengboche. We spend our evening practicing recreational Yoga in Tengboche Monastery!

After morning Yoga, we descend down to the small stone village of Debuche with nunnery. Then we cross the Imja Khola to the north before climbing towards Pangboche (3,860m). We follow the river to its confluence with the Lobuche Khola and continue towards Dingboche – the last permanent village in Khumbu region. Yoga and meditation in Dingboche.

Today we spend entire day acclimatizing our body. To acclimatize: we climb north to Nangkartshang Gompa ridge (4,800m) which commands superb view of Nuptse Glaceir, Chhukung Ri (4,230m), Imja Tse (6,189m), Makalu (8,463m), Ampu Lapcha ridge (5,845m). We can spend our day meditating and practicing Yoga in Nangkartshang Gompa.

After breakfast, we rise gradually to a ridge and further climb to the village of Duse (4,500m). From here, we can witness the western face of Taboche and Cholatse. Then we walk through yak pasture land to reach Duglha (4,620m); from where we climb steeply to the huge stony terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier. Here we can witness tantalizing Mahalangur Himal range – Khumbutse, Lingtren and Pumoro. An hour of gradual walk takes us to Lobuche. Evening meditation.

Today is the day we have been desperately waiting for. We walk to Gorak Shep from Lobuche where we enjoy the lunch. The trail is not so difficult but we ascend and descend mostly on a glacier path and involves meandering on a rough terrains. As we reach the base camp, we enjoy the tempting melt patterns and enjoy the rounded icy peaks on the upper part of Everest region. Here we can enjoy the great views of Nuptse, Khumbutse and Pumori mountains. We can spend some time meditating at the base camp. After meditating and soaking in the beauty, we retrace our step back to Gorek Shep.

Today we wake-up early in the morning to walk up to the Kala Patthar. We start amidst of darkness with cold temperature and chilly winds. The trail is fairly steep and we climb on a comfortable pace. As we reach the summit, we can enjoy the magnificent view of Lingtren, Khumbutse and Changtse mountains. After some time at summit, we walk back to Gorak Shep which is relatively easier than walking up to Kalapatthar. After lunch at Gorek Shep, we descend down to Pheriche for comfortable night. Evening meditation and yoga.

Today we drop significant altitude about 2,000 ft. and negotiate lots of ups and downs. Firstly we drop through a hillside groomed with rhododendron and juniper trekkers and cross a bridge over Dudh Koshi Khola (River). Then we climb down further through pine forest with the chance of encounter of mountain goats, Pheasants and other wild animals. We eventually reach – Sansa from where we take a winding trail followed by another walk through a forest to reach Namche Bazaar. Evening Meditation and Yoga!

Today is the last day of our walking adventure. Today’s walk is mostly downhill via stony terrain and Dudh Koshi River. We cross Dudh Koshi River via suspension bridge multiple times and pass by several Gompas and village before reaching Lukla. At Lukla, we relax our shore legs and recall the moments we spend amidst of the mountains. Evening meditation and yoga!

Today we catch the early morning possible flight back to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, we drive back to the hotel and take a well-deserved rest. We can either take rest or spend our day exploring the landmarks that we have missed in Day02. In the evening; we will attend a farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant to celebrate the successful completion of the trip. Evening meditation and yoga!

Your adventure holiday in Nepal comes to end today. Our airport representative will drive you back to Tribhuvan International Airport right on scheduled time (3 hours prior the flight). Farewell!!!
